On May 9th, A Better Balance Senior Staff Attorneys Cassandra Gomez and Kameron Dawson, had the honor of attending a special briefing at the White House on Investing in America’s Families. We were proud to join state-based organizations and share with the White House administration the needs of American families and how we can best support them through programming and policy like paid family and medical leave, pregnancy accommodations, and lactation accommodations in the workplace. This event also highlighted the Biden-Harris Administration’s investments to support mothers, parents, and families in communities across the country.
