In addition to enacting new supportive work-family laws, we work around the country to enforce and defend these protections—ensuring that workers are able to exercise their rights to care for themselves and their loved ones, stay on the job, and receive critical relief when their rights have been violated. We also provide support and representation for pregnant and parenting students seeking to exercise their rights at school under Title IX, so that they’re able to attain their educational goals.
We’re fighting tirelessly in the courts to protect workers’ and students’ ability to stay afloat economically while attending to their health and caregiving-related needs.
Our free, confidential legal helpline is here for workers and students with questions about their rights—contact us here.

We Enforce
As a legal organization, when we hear from workers and students whose rights have been violated, we file legal actions on their behalf in cases that will have maximum impact. We are not afraid to take on industry giants, enforcing the law and holding employers accountable.
