On Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., we will be joining the Institute of Women & Ethnic Studies, the National Birth Equity Collaborative, Tulane University and Xavier University’s School of Public Health’s Student Organization for a virtual panel to educate Louisiana college students about maternal and child health issues that affect communities of color, the legislative process, and ways to support BIPOC maternal and infant health in your community. The panel will feature A Better Balance Staff Attorney Kameron Dawson, Rep. Royce Duplessis, Dr. Veronica Gillispie, Rep. London Lamar, and Professor Randy McKee at Xavier University.
